About Magnolia Moss

I was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, and proudly lived there for my entire life. Augusta was not only my hometown but the place where I built my career, raised my family, formed lifelong friendships, and created countless memories. The values of hard work, integrity, and perseverance that I learned there shaped the person I am today.

Professionally, I enjoyed a rewarding career in accounting, human resources, and office management. Throughout the years, I was fortunate to work with outstanding people, develop strong leadership skills, and contribute to the success of the organizations I served. My career provided many opportunities for growth and fulfillment, and I remain grateful for those experiences.

After spending my entire life in Augusta, and following the loss of my husband, I decided about four years ago to take a leap of faith and begin a new chapter. I retired from my career and moved to beautiful Lake Keowee to remarry, embracing a slower pace of life and the opportunity to explore new interests and adventures.

One of those adventures led me to Keowee Key, where I met my now business partner on the golf course. As we became friends, we discovered that we shared a lifelong dream of owning a ladies' boutique featuring gifts, jewelry, home décor, and unique treasures. When an opportunity became available, we knew it was the chance we had been waiting for.

Together, we took that opportunity and turned our dream into reality. Today, we are proud owners of a ladies' gift boutique, where we enjoy helping customers find special items and creating a welcoming shopping experience. What started as a chance meeting blossomed into a wonderful friendship, a successful partnership, and a dream come true.

Looking back, I am thankful for the life I built in Augusta, the career that brought me so much fulfillment, and the courage to start over in retirement. My journey from Augusta to Lake Keowee has shown me that it's never too late to follow your dreams, embrace new opportunities, and create an exciting new chapter in life.

I am proud of where I came from, grateful for where I have been, and excited about where this journey continues to take me.

I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and have always considered myself a city girl at heart. However, over the years, I discovered that small-town living is where I truly belong. Having lived in Texas, Georgia, and now South Carolina, I proudly consider myself a Southerner. I've embraced the culture, the hospitality, and the slower pace of life that make the South so special.

My creative journey has spanned more than three decades. From working as a hairstylist to owning Fleur-De-Lis Interiors and later becoming co-owner and designer of Renewed Heirlooms Jewelry, creativity has always been at the center of my life.

My passion for interior design and home décor led me to open my first booth space at Queen of Hearts in Alpharetta, Georgia, in 2015. It was there that I discovered a new creative passion.

After moving to Keowee Key in 2018, I continued pursuing that passion through booth spaces in Seneca's Ram Cat Alley, Greenville, and Walhalla.

Along the way, I met Patsy on the golf course. We connected immediately and quickly realized we shared many of the same interests and creative aspirations. Together, we decided to go into business.

We often describe ourselves as yin and yang—different in many ways, yet perfectly complementary. What began as a business partnership has grown into a treasured friendship for which I am deeply grateful.

We were thrilled to find the perfect space just outside the gates of Keowee Key, where we could continue pursuing our shared passion and create something special together.

The warm welcome we've received from the Keowee Key community and surrounding areas has meant so much to us. We are grateful for the support and look forward to being an active part of this vibrant community for years to come.
